1. Is Our Betting Advice For You?

We appreciate that there are quite a few people out there who fully understand all about the risks involved in gambling, some of whom are competent enough to win more than they lose when it comes to soccer betting. However, as with anything else you do in life, the more you get to understand whatever it is that you are trying to achieve, the more successful you will be.

Always bear in mind that you aren't likely to get rich through soccer betting unless you strike it very lucky with a more exotic form of betting (such as clever 1X2 or Correct Scores accumulators). But, by applying the principles we talk about, you ought to be able to avoid making big blunders and, if you haven't done so before, perhaps start to make a little money from your betting.

Soccer betting should be indulged in just for the fun of it. Gambling doesn't generally offer a fast way to riches, and we won't pretend for an instant that our advice will turn losers into winners. We believe that only after a person has gained a certain level of proficiency in conducting any activity - whether that is playing golf, roulette, tennis or whatever - can the participant expect it to be fun. All we aim to do therefore is show today's novices how to consider their soccer betting selections in more detail, in the hope that they will be able to get more fun out of their gambling once they have a better command of what it is all about.

That doesn't necessarily mean that you wouldn't be able to glean something new from our pages if you are a betting expert, although you might perhaps consider some of our statements to be explaining the obvious. We won't apologise for that though, as we believe that if the novice is to gain a good grasp of the finer principles of betting, then it is essential to develop a strong foundation of understanding regarding this fascinating subject.

For the foregoing reasons, our "Betting Advice" is structured in a progressive format, with the contents of each section building on the next (although, inevitably, there will be a little bit of overlapping and essential repetition). However, we have tried as much as possible to make each section reasonably self-contained, so that there will be no need for you to read the whole of our Betting Advice if you are only interested in certain specific aspects of the subject matter. If you think we have not succeeded in this regard, please feel free to email us about it, so we can try to improve it for future visitors to our website; we would appreciate any such feedback.

Although our main intention is de-mystify the topic of soccer betting, we have sometimes found it necessary to go into a fair amount of technical detail. Where that has occurred we have generally rounded off the section with a wrap-up explanation. So if you find you are struggling in places, just bear with it to the end of each section, where you might just find that you had in fact understood everything perfectly, despite the complexity of the particular topic. And if, having got to the end of a section, you find that we have failed to get our message across adequately, please email us about that too.

If you were hoping that our Betting Advice would be the "Holy Grail of Gambling", then you are going to be disappointed, because it just doesn't exist - not anywhere. The fact is, getting your soccer betting to make regular money for you will be hard work, simply because it is so difficult for anyone to achieve. But it is highly enjoyable when you manage to get it right! And our objective is to help you get it right better than anyone else on the Internet can!
